Actress Eva Amurri already found “the one” in her now-fiancé Kyle Martino. However, it wasn’t until just recently that the bride-to-be found the other “one” — her wedding gown.
After trying on “a ton of dresses” in what she called a “weird, long process,” Eva settled on a wedding gown by designer Lela Rose. “It’s not a princess dress,” Eva, daughter of Susan Sarandon, told PEOPLE at the Lela Rose fashion show at New York’s Lincoln Center. “That’s all I’m saying. It’s very me. I felt like it was already hanging in my closet.”
Eva have tried dozens of designer wedding dresses, but found “they didn’t feel like me. I just felt like my head was stuck on a different girl’s body.” After finding the Lela Rose dress online, she went for a fitting and after a few changes, fell in love. “I tried it on and it was over,” she shared. Lela also designed Sarandon’s mother-of-the-bride dress, as well as bridesmaid dresses.
Eva said she can’t wait to be married, revealing that her wedding day is “right around the corner”. “It’s been a long engagement … we took the year to get married,” she said. “Now it’s getting closer, I feel great. I can’t wait.”
Later this year, the couple will be officially declared as husband and wife. Although the wedding will take place in the next few months, the 26-year-old actress has already prepared her body for the big day by doing some fitness.
